Dromad Hire Goes Green with planning for new Wind Turbine
With the environment in an ever declining state, much like that of the economy, Dromad Hire has become notably more ‘green aware’. We have obtained planning permission for a 20 metre high wind turbine adjoining our premises. The wind turbine will be fully operational by the New Year, and will provide 10kw of power. According to Seamus Byrne - “The wind turbine provides enough energy to partly run our premises electricity supply, and with plans in place to replace all delivery vehicles to electric powered vehicles by January 2011”. Just another indication that Dromad is a forward progressive company.
